Yoxyz — Frequently Asked Questions
Yoxyz FAQ
Everything you need to know about Yoxyz, the best multi-chain yield optimizer in DeFi. Find answers about vaults, security, rewards, and more.
Yoxyz is a secure, multi-chain yield optimizer designed to deliver the best risk-adjusted yield in DeFi — automatically and continuously.
Instead of manually searching for the highest APY and constantly rebalancing your positions, Yoxyz does all of this for you. When you deposit assets into a Yoxyz vault, the protocol automatically allocates your funds across the most productive yield-generating strategies available on-chain.
Here is how it works step by step:
- You deposit a supported asset (ETH, BTC, USDC, SOL, EUR, GOLD) into a Yoxyz vault.
- Yoxyz's smart contracts continuously monitor yield opportunities across integrated protocols.
- Funds are automatically rebalanced to maximize returns while managing risk.
- Your balance grows over time — you can withdraw at any time.
The protocol currently supports vaults on Base, Ethereum, and Solana, with more chains planned.
Yoxyz offers a diverse range of vaults to match different investor profiles and asset preferences. Current featured vaults include:
- yoUSD — Stablecoin vault targeting ~17% APY. TVL: $41M+
- yoETH — Ethereum vault targeting ~13% APY. TVL: $15M+
- yoBTC — Bitcoin vault targeting ~11% APY. TVL: $8M+
- yoSOL — Solana vault targeting ~6% APY. TVL: $991K+
- yoGOLD — Gold-denominated vault targeting ~11% APY with bonus Fusion points.
- yoEUR — Euro-denominated vault targeting ~12% APY.
Yields are variable and depend on market conditions, available liquidity, and the underlying protocols used by Yoxyz. The protocol prioritizes risk-adjusted returns — meaning it balances yield maximization with capital safety.
All APYs displayed are estimated based on current strategies and are subject to change as Yoxyz rebalances across protocols.
Security is a top priority at Yoxyz. The protocol employs multiple layers of protection to safeguard deposited funds:
- Smart contract audits: All Yoxyz smart contracts are independently audited by reputable security firms before deployment.
- Risk-adjusted rebalancing: Yoxyz does not simply chase the highest yield — it evaluates protocol risk, liquidity depth, and smart contract exposure before allocating funds.
- Diversification: Funds are distributed across multiple protocols and strategies to reduce concentration risk.
- Non-custodial architecture: Yoxyz smart contracts are non-custodial — you retain ownership of your assets at all times.
- Transparent on-chain activity: All deposits, withdrawals, and rebalancing events are fully verifiable on-chain.
- Protocol upgrade governance: Major protocol changes go through a formal upgrade process, visible at the Protocol Upgrades page.
While Yoxyz takes extensive precautions, DeFi always carries inherent smart contract and market risks. Users should only deposit funds they can afford to risk.
The $YO token is the native rewards token of the Yoxyz protocol. Depositing into any Yoxyz vault qualifies you to earn $YO token rewards on top of your base yield.
Here is how the rewards system works:
- Deposit supported assets into any active Yoxyz vault.
- Your deposit is automatically tracked and accrues $YO reward points over time.
- The longer you stay deposited and the larger your position, the more $YO rewards you accumulate.
- Some vaults also offer bonus partner points — for example, yoGOLD provides 5x Fusion points in addition to base yield and $YO rewards.
You can view your current rewards and point balances by visiting the Rewards section at app.yo.xyz/rewards.
Yoxyz is building a sustainable rewards program designed to incentivize long-term, loyal depositors rather than short-term yield farmers.
Withdrawals from Yoxyz vaults are generally available at any time. However, specific vaults may have temporary fee structures or conditions based on underlying protocol exposure:
- yoUSD withdrawal fee: Currently charges a temporary 2.95% withdrawal fee, matching its RLP (Resolv Liquidity Pool) exposure, until Resolv clarifies the value of RLP. Long-term depositors benefit from this structure as the fee is expected to be resolved over time.
- Standard vaults: Most other vaults (yoETH, yoBTC, yoSOL, yoEUR, yoGOLD) allow withdrawals with standard on-chain gas costs only.
- Performance fees: Yoxyz may charge a protocol performance fee on generated yield. Check the vault detail page for the exact fee structure of each vault.
To withdraw, simply connect your wallet on the Yoxyz app, navigate to your vault position, and click withdraw. Funds are returned to your wallet after the transaction is confirmed on-chain.
Important: Always review the current vault terms before depositing, as fee structures can be updated by the protocol through its governance process.
Yoxyz is a multi-chain yield optimizer, currently supporting three major blockchain networks:
- Base — Home to yoUSD, yoETH, yoBTC, and yoEUR vaults. Base is an Ethereum L2 offering fast, low-cost transactions.
- Ethereum Mainnet — Home to the yoGOLD vault, leveraging Ethereum's deep liquidity and gold-pegged asset ecosystem.
- Solana — Home to the yoSOL vault, offering fast finality and native Solana yield strategies.
Yoxyz's multi-chain architecture is a core feature of the protocol. Rather than being locked to a single ecosystem, Yoxyz continuously evaluates and integrates new chains where meaningful yield opportunities exist.
The team has announced plans to expand to additional networks. Follow Yoxyz's official channels and blog for updates on new chain integrations.
Thanks to the Yoxyz SDK, developers can also integrate Yoxyz's yield infrastructure into their own products across supported chains.
Yoxyz differentiates itself from other yield aggregators and optimizers in several key ways:
- True multi-chain: Unlike many yield protocols limited to a single chain, Yoxyz actively manages yield across Base, Ethereum, and Solana simultaneously.
- Risk-first approach: Yoxyz prioritizes risk-adjusted returns rather than simply maximizing APY. This means it avoids over-leveraged or high-risk strategies that could lead to liquidations or losses.
- Automated rebalancing: Yoxyz continuously monitors and rebalances positions — no manual management required from depositors.
- Diverse asset support: From stablecoins (yoUSD) to crypto (yoETH, yoBTC, yoSOL) to real-world assets (yoGOLD, yoEUR), Yoxyz covers a wide range of asset classes.
- Developer-friendly: The Yoxyz SDK allows developers to integrate Yoxyz's yield infrastructure into their own dApps.
- $70M+ TVL: Yoxyz has demonstrated significant market trust with over $70 million in total value locked across its vaults.
Getting started with Yoxyz takes just a few minutes. Here is a step-by-step guide:
- Step 1: Visit app.yo.xyz and connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, or any supported wallet).
- Step 2: Choose a vault that matches the asset you want to deposit — yoUSD for stablecoins, yoETH for Ethereum, yoBTC for Bitcoin, etc.
- Step 3: Enter the amount you want to deposit and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- Step 4: Your funds are now working in Yoxyz. You will start earning yield immediately.
- Step 5: Monitor your earnings and $YO reward accumulation from your dashboard.
There is no minimum deposit for most vaults. Yoxyz is designed to be accessible to both small and large depositors.
